Role, Responsibilities & Obligations of the Vice President
Only in the Absence of the President

1.The role of the President is Required by Spanish Law.
2.Acts as Legal Representative of the Community.
3.Attends Spanish Courts as Legal Representative.
4.Signs Contracts on behalf of the Community.
5.Signs Cheques on behalf of the Community.
6.Can bring Law suites on behalf of the Community.
7.Gives orders to the Administrator.
8.Prepare the Notices of the AGM.
9.Prepare the Agenda of the AGM.
10.Ensure Notices are sent out well in advance of meetings.
11.Oversee the Preparation of the Accounts.
12.Prepare the Budget for the coming year.
13.Ensures the Minutes of the AGM are kept and Notarized.
14.Presides over the Meetings, and informs absent members in writing, of the decisions taken.
15.Hire and Fire Contractors.
16.Adhere to the Information Security Policy.
17.Abide by the Privacy Policy.
18.Abide by the Confidentiality Agreement that they signed.
19.Ensure the Committee are aware & understand, the Policies & Procedures in place.
