Data Protection Act in Europe

The first draft of this act was implemented in 2000, and the second draft in 2007. All entities that processed personal information were obliged to follow certain rules laid down by European Parliament. For the first time all European Countries, had to adhere to the same principles & laws, including Spain (makes a change) The following link will allow you to download the 2007 document in pdf format.
