Welcome to the help page, this is not meant to be a guide on how to operate & configure your software or computer, all we are trying to do here is show you how to enable certain areas of your browser in order to view all pages on this site. This guide? is mainly focusing on Internet Explorer, as this is where most of the problems are (and is the most widely used browser) Some of you have trouble from the opening page, this is because you have not activated Activex (scripts) This has prevented some people from being able to view the entire site, and you are missing out on so much! Then there are the other Security settings in Internet Explorer to deal with, so much going on here it all looks daunting, but with these files i hope to point you in the right direction.
Follow the links below to go to a help file on that subject
Internet Explorer Settings: This is the main Security area of IE7, and now IE8. It incorporates all the elements below, and some.
I suggest you press the F1 key, with your Internet Explorer browser launched This brings up the help files, enjoy!
Internet Explorer Trusted Zone. The trusted zone is where you put the URL or address, of any website that you trust not to do you harm, like www.rb3entrenaranjos.info.
Understanding Security Zones: There are four Security zones in IE7 and IE8, and lots of options. Press that F1 key for more help.
Enable Cookies: You need to enable cookies so that the password security software, can rmember you for that session, and future sessions. Failure to do so could prevent you from entering the Secure area, and the on-line Forum. They also serve to remember you when we use a message screen that shows sometimes, it tells the message to only show once per browser session, thus removing the annoyance factor.
ActiveX: You should enable ActiveX to run from http://www.rb3entrenaranjos.info, for all other sites you will need to make a choice..
If not allowed for our Community site, you will be unable to enjoy all the pages of information, and some of the graphics. You may as well click away and go some place else.
Understanding Security & Privacy features: For the lazy ones amongst you, i have taken some help files from the browser help pages accessed from the F1 key, so you dont have too.
How to decide if you can trust a website: For any Browser: Knowing when to trust a website depends in part on who publishes the website, what information they want, and what you want from the site. If you're not sure whether to trust a website, consider these questions behind the link.
Flash: What is it & what do i do with it? Our Community website does use Flash, in order to enhance the visual appeal of the site.. On other websites it is normally associated with Advertisements, those annoying animated ones, and is often found in your Hotmail account. We do not knowingly, carry any advertisements of any sort that are used in this way, but the choice is yours.
Calendar: The RB3 Calendar of events found by clicking the.........Calendar Tab!, can have several events for any particular day.
Not all may actually show in your window, depending on the size of your P.C. screen. I suggest that in order for you to view all, or most events headings clearly, you press the F11 key on you keyboard when viewing the Calendar, or even the whole website.
For those that are not aware of what this does, I will briefly explain. The F11 key works when you are using your browser to view a website, it will "temporarily" remove the menu bars (top of browser) & task bar (bottom of browser) to give you a 100% uncluttered view of the page you are viewing. This helps by expanding the information to the screen limits of your computer, and makes viewing more enjoyable. To return to normal, just press F11 again and all will be revealed.
This works in I.E.6+ & FF1+
The F11 key Does not work in Apple Safari or Google Chrome.
